The Mushroom House is back!

Mira saw our long-forgotten Mushroom House in her closet the other day and begged me and Chris to put it up again. It's rather large, so the only place I can put it up and have it out of the way at the same time is the dining room. It gives them another place to play, plus the private clubhouse feel both our girls like. We had forgotten that one of the connectors had broken. One handy husband and some duct tape later . . . and we are back in business! Behold! The Mushroom House:
Like it? You too can own one, or something just as fun. Bazoongi.com has some great kids "houses" and they aren't too expensive either.* As you can see, Amelia loves it!
I saw the sweetest thing the other day. Mira was listening to her iPod and Amelia wanted to hear the music too. So Mira let Amelia listen through one of her earbuds. They sat that way for awhile and belted out tunes from "The Lion King" and "Mamma Mia." We love when they are loving sisters.
So it's raining here. And chilly. I for one can't wait until spring is officially here. Or, better yet, summer! This will be one to really savor and enjoy. Maybe a new patio furniture set is in my future!

*Disclaimer: We got ours for free from a vendor. But they are still worth looking into.

That's so cute! Reminds me that we should set up Rowan's play tent again.
