Tonight Mira had her open house at Kindergarten. She got to see her classroom, meet her teacher, and get on the school bus. Her friend Isaac from daycare will be in her classroom too. They will ride the bus together. Safety in numbers! We are having a problem with the bus company though. The assigned bus stop is a couple blocks away, around a curved street with no sidewalks. Our daycare provider can't see them at all getting on or off the bus. It makes me quite nervous! Isaac's mom and I have been trying to get the bus company to add a stop right across the street from the daycare, where there is a 4-way stop. We figure the bus has to stop anyway, so why can't he open the doors and let two kids on quick? This 4-way stop was a bus stop for 20 years. This new company moved the stop a couple years ago. They are really being resistant to adding this stop, but we won't take no for an answer, so we've been pestering them all week. Pray we can get this stop added to keep Mira safe!Mira and Isaac in their kindergarten class:

Oh, and Mira's teacher is Mrs. Hill. And Mira picked out the dress she is wearing in the pictures herself. She looks so pretty!
