There's my sweet two year old!

This summer, Amelia has been in a bit of a sassy/whiny/crying slump. Sure, she's sweet as pie sometimes, but mostly her mood has been crabby and her attitude demanding. We are happy to say that Amelia has really rounded the corner out of those terrible two's and has emerged a very joyous, loving little girl. Her demeanor is sweet now, with lots and lots of "I love you, Mommy" and "I love you, Daddy" all day long. It's a treat!
Mira had the pleasure of picking out all sorts of goodies for our church's "Operation Christmas Child" boxes. She picked a nice variety of personal items (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, underwear, socks), and added some little toys (Polly Pockets, crayons, play-doh). Top it off with some lollipops and we hope there is one happy little girl across the world on Christmas morning!
Mira saw me wearing an avocado/oatmeal face mask the other night and wanted to get in on the action. I figured she was old enough and let her try one. She liked it . . . until it dried and felt really tight on her face!
Amelia wanted to try it too. I thought she was a little young, so I put a couple dabs of Noxema cleanser on her nose and cheeks instead!
Can you believe it's November already? Thanksgiving is a mere 2 1/2 weeks away, then CHRISTMAS! I need to get it in gear!

love the pics- I don't like it when it gets hard and tight on my skin either.

Sassy, whiny, crying. Add "ignoring everything out of her parents' mouths," and you're describing OUR 2yr old!! I find myself saying, "Beat it, missy. Do not come in my room and yell at me!" daily. Ugh.

Also...
I've got this cream blush you apply with your finger; Piper's seen me use it. For some reason, she thinks Vaseline is the same thing and insists on rubbing globs of it all over her face whenever she gets the chance.

I don't think 2's are terrible. Maybe 3 and 4's are busy and make messes but two are sweet! Bring them to me. I'll take them, but only one at a time and only for a couple of hours every other day but not weekends or holidays and not before 10am. Love, Margene

Thanks for offering to watch my two-year-old, Margene! Even with all the restrictions, I'm sure we can find a time!
