Hello, Winter!

Mira has been asking for a puppy for a long while now. We had planned to give her one for her 5th birthday in May, but decided to wait a little while longer. Then in November we heard of a woman who had bred her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and the dog was having pups on Christmas Eve! The puppy would be ready to come home in late February.

Unfortunately, the dog didn't end up being pregnant. The breeder felt so bad, she found some other options for us. So . . . meet Winter, our newest addition to the family!

Winter will be coming to us from Moorhead on Sunday or Monday of this week! It's a bit sooner than we expected, but he is so cute and Mira wants a puppy so badly that we thought this opportunity to have him came at a great time.

We'll post more when he is comfortable in our home early next week. Mira is over the moon excited to finally meet him! Winter is three months old and is all ruby. I believe his coat gets darker as he gets older where he'll be a full chesnut color.
