Merry Christmas!

We had a wonderfully lazy day today (except for Chris, who plowed out the driveway!). The girls and I didn't leave the house once, nor did we even get out of our pajamas! We started the morning with the girls very excited to see what Santa left in their stockings. It was especially momentous for Amelia, who had put all her pappys (pacifiers) in a bowl for Santa the night before. She gave her pappys to Santa, and he is going to give them to new babies who don't have pacifiers yet. In return, Santa left Amelia a special baby doll. (As I type this, Amelia is having a harder time falling asleep tonight without her pacifier, and she didn't take a nap today. Hopefully this will go smoothly, but there is no going back now.)

Mira got most of the items on her list, especially her Littlest Pet Shop wishes. Santa also went a little crazy with hair bows, barrettes, and hair binders. (We actually need to go to Target tomorrow for some sort of hanging storage system to keep them all organized! I love buying things that get me organized! Speaking of organized, I organized all my kitchen cabinets yesterday and have a huge bin of items to donate that we never used. Yay!)

Books are always a hit!

Today was lots of lazing around, playing games (Monopoly Jr. is great fun!) and putting together puzzles. We made ice cream and caramel rolls. Yum! All in all, a wonderful and quiet Christmas. Hope yours was just as great.

On Christmas Eve night, we all went to Chris's dad's place for dinner. It was so yummy and Randy and Terrie were way too generous to all of us. We had a great time!

I, too, LOVE buying organization tools.

And that's a really cool, creative pacifier solution. How did you come up with that?
